Synopsis

Hakodate, in the region of Hokkaido, a card sent by Kaito Kid is found in the Onoe group’s warehouse. This time, Kid is going after Japanese swords which are said to be linked to Toshizo Hijikata, the vice-commander of the Shinsen-gumi from the Bakumatsu period. Why would a jewel specialist such as Kid be interested in swords…? On the day of Kid’s heist, the detective of the West Heiji Hattori is also in Hakodate to participate in a kendo tournament. He sees through Kid’s disguise and manages to corner him.
